Continuing Education

Continuing Education

Failure to comply with continuing education requirements may result in disciplinary action against the licensee or registrant. The disciplinary action will be reported on the Department of Health license verification web site.

Continuing education for license renewal is not mandatory in Tennessee. However, continuing competency is the standard in Tennessee. In order to maintain competency, each dietitian/nutritionist is encouraged to attend and participate in professional continuing education programs.
